Hello Sabang !

August 1st, 2014, we left Medan starting our trip to the west point of Indonesia, Weh Island.
i was pretty excited cause it’s been ages since i last went to a beach.

A Beautiful sunrise i catch on the bus

August 2nd, 12 hours on the road, and we finally arrived at Banda Aceh and luckily we didnt have to wait at the Ulee Lheue Port to cross to the Weh Island, cause we arrived there right when they’re filling the boat.

The weather was quite nice. After about 45 min floating on the sea, we finally arrived. After having a quick rest, we went straight to the beach. We stayed at Sumur Tiga Beach area and it was so beautiful i was just so blown by the beauty that my eyes catched.

Just casually waiting for da bae. haha

i really love it there cause the beach doesn’t have big waves, it was just a perfect place for swimming or snorkeling. After 7 hours playing on the beach - don’t judge - , we’re back to hotel and spent the night at Casanemo Restaurant to chill. funny thing, not long after we got there, around 10pm they closed the restaurant. i was confused like with place like this, why do they close so early? the next day i ask the other restaurant what time do they close and they say it’s 10pm. then i realised, huh, i get it, it’s a moslem area after all, hahaha

The next day, we plan to get a little city tour before we went to Iboih to snorkeling. The driver was super super nice, he took us to places like The Japanese Fortress, where it gave us such a magnificent view of Anoi Itam Beach and Malacca Strait. Oh! and did i tell you i'm obsessed with Coconut trees? i went cray cray there. i think i took more coconut trees pictures than my self.

We also went to Sabang Hill, it’s the first ever hotel build in Sabang. The view was amazing. We also stopped by at Gapang Beach, it’s nice, but we didn’t spend much time there. After that, we headed to Iboih Beach to went across to Rubiah Island.

There’s a funny thing i ‘just’ found out there at the beach. When me and my sister were changing our clothes, she said, ‘you should cover up your body. i saw ‘No Bikini’ sign here’. well…………. That is why i didn’t see a single native people on the beach?? HAHAHA i didn’t know that before we headed there? so.. warning everyone! you should definitely not want to get shade on people's eyes there, literally ;D
We finally crossing to Rubiah Island. it was really beautiful there, no kidding. If only there were less people when we got there, haha.

View from Rubiah Island

that wasn't even deep

Fahmy, our guide, he was about my age, was really nice. he took me to the pretty underwater spot which less people there know, and i was completely blown away. i know it’s not as beautiful as the diving spot but, for a snorkling spot it was amazing, like literally, watching natgeo channel live. too bad our camera battery’s already dead before i got there. and by the way, it was pretty deep actually. i could feel the water suddenly turned colder and colder as i swam, and there’s a moment where i got goosebumps cause it was so deep and finally asked Fahmy to get back.
After we got off water,  we ate the Octopus Satay - cause you’re not going to Sabang if you don’t eat Octopus Satay, specially in Rubiah, they say - it was realllly good.

After we crossing back to Iboih, it was about 4.30pm we headed to the 0 km Monument. Yep, the west point of Indonesia. we actually expected to see a pretty sunset there, but the weather wasn’t cooperate with us, so, better luck next time?

The next morning we left Sabang and spent a day full in Banda Aceh with our friend, Putri. cause it’s also the first time i’ve been to Banda, she took us on a city tour before we headed back to Medan at night.

it was a super nice trip. I'd definitely wanna go back there someday.

toodles!

Home Again!

Can i just say, YASSSSSSSSSS cause my class-routine semester is done?!
but then, im thinking about all the real things that are just in a corner and… bruh.

Right now, im at home and try to get my self busy with some projects that im recently working on, try to get my head out of college for a while cause ive been thru such hell for the last couple of months so it’s really nice to finally get out of it. for now.

okay, few days ago, there’re two singles that’s just been released and i’m so hyped cause both are such great songs, but in really different mood.
1st is 5 Seconds Of Summer with Amnesia, GOSH the lyric video is just too much, i mean, how the hell did Luke get so hot like that?! sorry, fangirl mode. also, the lyric is too heartbreaking, every word from that song is just.. *sigh*, here :

2nd,  Ariana Grande just released her new single featuring Zedd, Break Free, and i-am-so-obsessed, Zedd’s done such a kill to that song. it’s one of those songs where you just went dancing along just by a moment it played. looking at my current obsession at Problem before (well i even cover it on soundcloud, fgs), i think her new album, -- My Everything -- would probably be a smash. i’m really looking forward for that soon.

aanyway, while i’m here in Medan, i am helping my sister and my friend on their new food business, it’s What The Food

You can catch us on instagram and maybe for some of you who’s located in Medan could try their best home made cook? you deff might want a bite ;)

this last few weeks ive been catching up on some of my favorite tv series that i haven’t watched (cause with Glee and Scandal on break im totally lost), so i watch Grey’s Anatomy again!
and just last night i watch this episode, and — you know my favorite thing about Grey’s Anatomy is the monologues — there’s this monologue from Callie that struck me :

We’ve all done things we’re not proud of, I understand that. I know nobody’s perfect, but how do you live with it? How do you get up every morning and face the world knowing you could have done better? That you should have done better. Is being sorry enough? Can an apology actually heal our wounds? Ease our pain? Can it undo the hurt that we’ve caused?

-------------------------------

okay, who’s in the World Cup vibes right now? i bet all of you.
before i’m out, i’m gonna leave you with this cuteness overload video of super shy Neymar — who surprisingly is a big fan of one direction i mean look at his precious face when they mention One Direction — talking about One Direction and stuff :’)

I KNOW. HE’S SUPER CUTE, RIGHT?????

David Levithan's Every Day

just two days ago i realized that it’s already the third month of this year
I KNOW
it’s speeeding like shoot
as you can see, im making a little make over here. what do you think?
as i told you before, im working on something,
yup, step by step.

Before we get to the point of this post, i wanna introduce you to my new Not So Photography Blog

i always love taking pictures and i finally make space for that. I appreciate if you’d take a look and check out my new blog :-)

okay, i wanna tell you about this book i just finished reading.
it’s Every Day by David Levithan

well for you who’s not so familiar with it, it’s a fiction about A, who’s been living as different person every single day since s/he was born.

i personally love David Levithan. the way he uses words is simply relatable, quite captivating and not too complicated.

there are so many nice words and quotes in this book, if you follow my tumblr you must already know some of them.
but now i’ll show you some of my favorites from the book.

“She is so lost in her sadness that she has no idea how visible it is”

“She has been hanging on to the hope of him for so long that she doesn’t realize there isn’t anything left to hope for”

“People are rarely as attractive in reality as they are in the eyes of the people who are in love with them”

“They are so caught up in their happiness that they don’t realize i’m not really a part of it”

“Part of growing up is making sure your sense of reality isn’t entirely grounded in your own mind”

“There are friends, but they are people to spend time time with, not people to share time with”

“That doesn’t mean anything, does it? i mean, being with someone for over a year can mean that you love them… but it can also mean you’re trapped.”

deep, huh?
i’ll leave you with this one, i think, my favorite from all :-)

♡ cheers to all the girls with messy hair and thirsty heart who read books to sleep

toodles!

Black and White Silence

look around
can you feel that?
the awkward move
the undiscovered tears
the fearful thoughts
the broken smile
the forcing laugh
the screaming pain
the hidden lies
everything is in Black and White Silence
i've dreamt of a world full of people with no broken wings
i did
but yet it's only a dream
im in silence
going to school
finished school
going to college your parents told you to
depressed
then they blame us and society
i'm in silence
i wonder when
when will time finally slap me out of this black and white silence
maybe with a word,
'you are not your parent's machine, wake the fuck up'
i'm in silence
my wings still survive
but you can barely see its pain
there will be time
when they see us as rebels
when the truth
we're flying our own wings
and realized
these wings are not a machine
it grows in our body
We control it
not you, not you, not you
i'm in silence
there will be time
when these wings finally works beautifully
no pain
no blood
and the world will finally realize
how sad the world this young blood's been living
and im still in silence

Happy Valentine's Day

so who's watching American Idol season 13?
i can say that i finally have that feel i had when i watched David's season.
this season is different. the panel has a new freaking hot smart af judge that really stepped up the last flopped panel, mr Harry Connick Jr. haha i love him so much
anyway, ive got my back on one of the guys already.
his name is Alex Preston, he's had my heart from the first audition. he's like the American version of Ed Sheeran, aaah! i love him!
